The building is
completely sprayable from top to bottom, with metal sheeting and waterproof covers on all light fixtures.
The kill floor and coolers have 14' high ceilings, while the remainder of the building has
10' high ceilings.
The meatshop is located on 35 acres of land with a 1,000 ft²
worker residence. We are 8km
from a rapidly growing town of approximately 8,000 people (with
new subdivisions in the works), and 4km south of a
major Canadian Highway (Yellowhead #16).
TNT Meats is the only
provincially inspected abattoir in the west Yellowhead area.

The majority of our work is
custom cutting and sausage making, with current business plans
of retail sales of meats and sausage. Most of our
customers are from the Edson, Hinton and Peers areas, but we
also service customers from as far away as Drayton Valley, Fox
Creek and Calgary.
Beef, pork, lamb, domestic elk
and bison are our main concentration.
Hunting season brings in
approximately 200 - 300 wild game animals and over 12,000 pounds
of meat for wild game sausage.
